A.J. Croce Reno reviews
Joe Bonamossa is my new standard for live music
A.J. Croce's music, but had not seen him live before. I have enjoyed. I was a bit apprehensive at the ticket prices, but wanted to give it a try. His show was worth every penny - easily the best show I've seen in years! With barely any breaks, A.J. Croce and his band kept the house rocking with one great tune after another. The variety of styles was a treat, as was the amazing band he had with him. Micheal Rhodes on bass was a treat, but one of my heros, Reese Wynans (Stevie Ray Vaughan's keyboardist!) was amazing. Also, the Paramount Theater in Oakland had the best sound of a music venue that I've heard in years. It's become my favorite venue for music. This was a superb show, and I'm looking forward to hearing A.J. Croce again next time he is in the San Francisco Bay Area!
